Cassar & Cooper Group was founded.

Cassar & Cooper formed British Air Services (B.A.S. Ltd )

BAS was the very first company to obtain a licence in the name of Air Malta and operated a number of charters to key destinations including Rome, Naples, Catania, Palermo, Tunis, Tripoli and Cairo.

BAS was appointed exclusive agent for Air Express International

BAS is the exclusive agent for Danzas AEI.

BAS is the exclusive agent for DHL Global Forwarding (the air & ocean division) in Malta.

Today the Group employs 160 persons in 5 offices around Malta.

BAS Limited is part of the Cassar & Cooper group.

Cassar & Cooper Group was founded in 1946 by Mr. Frederick Cooper and Mr. Anthony Cassar which had a strong interest in Freight Forwarding, Ship Agency, Travel, Real Estate, Express, Incentive Travel and Insurance. It then pioneered the Road, Air Freight, Real Estate and Insurance Business in Malta.
